Hopefully my light blogging schedule will end “soon”.

I’ve been a little busy and haven’t had the opportunity to blog a lot recently. Between 18 credits at VCU and the commute there, as well as a recent cold I had a week and a half ago, I’ve been a little preoccupied.

I’ve got some video of the Wittman town hall meeting that was in Warsaw on Sunday and the inane — and insane for that matter — questions that were asked that I need to do a best-of clip of, so keep a lookout for that. I’ll also be covering Wittman’s town hall meeting scheduled for today in Fredericksburg at the University of Mary Washington, as well as Mark Warner’s town hall meeting that is scheduled for the Fredericksburg Expo Center on Thursday.

Oh yeah, and I think I’m coming down with another cold, so lucky me.

In case you missed it, I’ve been posting quite a bit on Virginia Virtucon.

I still haven’t decided what will be posted where. Maybe state-wide stuff on VV, regional stuff cross-posted, and local stuff here?

Anyway, recent posts that you might have missed:

Former lobbyist and chief counsel to Joe Biden to get the United States Attorney post for the Eastern District?

What happens when you adopt government bureaucracy into a business.

Some more thoughts on Jody “Financial Fantasyland” Wagner’s dishonest attack on Bill Bolling.

Didn’t Steve Shannon call the whole Melendez-Diaz situation a “political stunt”?

Does The WaPo know anything about Virginia’s criminal justice system?

More on the GACRE: Speaker Bill Howell and Delegate Lacey Putney corrected both Gov. Kaine and Jody Wagner on GACRE’s purpose back in 2007.

Your favorite “insignificant” “leftist” “hate-blog” “that is used almost exclusively to support the Democrat Party” with its “rather dull and inane vitriol” hits the big time, joins The Jeffersoniad.

That would be me if I wasn’t clear in the title.

The folks at The Jeffersoniad must really not have read the drivel that gets posted on here.

In all seriousness, it’s great honor to join the likes of the Jason and Shaun Kenney, Riley et al. at Virginia Virtucon, and D.J. McGuire (no offense intended to anyone I didn’t name but I wasn’t going to go through all 25 other blogs).

Tentative live hate-blog schedule.

The second Presidential debate on Tuesday, October 7, at 9 p.m.

The third Presidential debate on Wednesday, October 15, at 9 p.m.

Election night November 4, starting at 6 p.m.ish (subject to change).

Unfortunately, can’t do the Veep debate on Thursday, October 2, 9 p.m., due to the fact that I have a class at that time. Well, I could do it, but I don’t think the instructor would be too happy with me watching steaming video and typing up stuff for a blog. :)

Coveritlive.com has some great free software for live blogging for the bloggers out there, by the way.

Site Note

For some reason the plugin that I was using to display recent comments on the left sidebar isn’t working correctly with the new version of WordPress (2.5) so I’ve removed it.

Also, I’ve added a twitter feed. I’ll be using Twitter to provide updates during BOS meetings and the like by cell phone. In doing this, I’ve blatantly stolen the idea of the folks at Fredericksburg Blogs, In the ‘Burg, and the fred review just so you know.

FYI, RSS feed address for the twitter feed is: http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/14288919.rss
