All of the Universities are offering Degrees in subjects where there is no legitimate need.

Tuition and fees keep going up, while Universities continue to create funded positions in non-core functions; everything from various “diversity” officers to program leaders for GLBT “resource centers.”

VCU and other schools need to ditch non-core functions and stick to producing degrees in subject areas where there is a real need.

Schools should, instead of funding various political groups on campus, such as, Women’s Studies, African Studies, Illegal Alien Studies, etc. and use the saved funds to lower tuition and create a student entrepreneur grant program, that will provide teams of students with start-up capital to start their own business, so they can provide themselves with jobs.

Heaven knows, corporate America will not provide American citizens with jobs, they are doing all that they can to send our jobs to F*cking China.
