Is Catherine Crabill a Provisional IRA member?

The folks at “I’m Surrounded By Idiots” (that would be me) have been wondering for a long time where exactly Catherine Crabill got her infamous ‘ballot box or bullet box’ quote (since Patrick Henry never said anything remotely similar — ever). While spending too much time on Wikipedia, I came across this quote from Provisional … Continue reading “Is Catherine Crabill a Provisional IRA member?”

Wow, Catherine Crabill is certainly a constitutional scholar.

Yeah, I know, the election is over. But apparently Crabill’s here to stay since she is redesigning her website and has a comment telling readers to “stay tuned” (possible run against Rob Wittman this coming year? God, I hope not). First, I have got to comment on her comments made during her infamous ‘ballot box … Continue reading “Wow, Catherine Crabill is certainly a constitutional scholar.”

Well, the candidacy of Catherine Crabill has provided some benefits…

It’s allowed us to determine what groups and persons have a shred of intelligence and sanity. And on that front, it looks like the Virginia Citizens Defense League (VCDL) has joined the Gun Owners of America and the “American Patriots Committee” in showing they shouldn’t be trusted as far as you can throw them: VCDL-PAC … Continue reading “Well, the candidacy of Catherine Crabill has provided some benefits…”

Rob Wittman condemns Catherine Crabill, refuses to support or endorse her candidacy.

The Free Lance–Star: Rep. Rob Wittman has joined other top Republican leaders in the state who are shunning Catherine T. Crabill, a controversial candidate for the Northern Neck’s seat in the House of Delegates. Wittman spokesman Steve Stampley said last week that the congressman from Montross will endorse neither Crabill nor incumbent Albert Pollard, D-Lancaster, … Continue reading “Rob Wittman condemns Catherine Crabill, refuses to support or endorse her candidacy.”

Introducing the Catherine Crabill blacklist.

Because these people shouldn’t be allowed to vote, much less be involved in a serious political party. And these people should be made aware in absolute terms that their support for this embarrassment of a candidate will be remembered and there will be repercussions for it. Feel free to add names in the comments section … Continue reading “Introducing the Catherine Crabill blacklist.”

My thoughts in re Catherine Crabill.

It looks like some of the state Republican bigwigs have finally realized how bad having someone like Catherine Crabill as a Republican nominee is according to The WaPo: No, Bob McDonnell is not attending an upcoming fundraiser with Republican House of Delegates candidate Catherine Crabill. Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling won’t be there either. Attorney general … Continue reading “My thoughts in re Catherine Crabill.”

Crabill Watch: Catherine Crabill gets the coveted endorsement from the conspiracy theory clearing house Prison Planet.com.

Not a real surprise, right? But a couple of words do not probably describe the type of folks that are behind Prison Planet.com. It isn’t just Oklahoma City Bombing Truthers (OKC Truthers) and United Nations one-government nuts like Crabill, it’s 9/11 Truther (people that believe that the Bush, or the Jews, or combination there of … Continue reading “Crabill Watch: Catherine Crabill gets the coveted endorsement from the conspiracy theory clearing house Prison Planet.com.”

Speaking of Catherine Crabill, did she forget to file her campaign finance report this month?

It’s neither listed on the State Board of Elections’ website nor on the Virginia Public Access Project (VPAP). Of course, her report from the previous filing period was noticeably missing certain expenditures that should have been included in the report but I haven’t had a chance to write a post about that yet. UPDATE, 07/16/2009, … Continue reading “Speaking of Catherine Crabill, did she forget to file her campaign finance report this month?”

Catherine Crabill (Republican candidate in the 99th) on her way to victory with $865 raised and $765 on hand.

Meanwhile, in the same period, Albert Pollard (D) raised $8,405 and has $4,745.52 on hand. I really am surprised that there are people stupid enough out there to actually contribute to her campaign…actually, I’m not. After all, there are people out there who voted her to be their party’s nominee.

99th House of Delegates Mass Meeting: Terry Beatley, Catherine Crabill: tomato, tah-mah-toh?

For those that are unaware of Terry Beatley is, she’s the woman that managed to get a special grand jury convened in an attempt to indict a movie rental business in Lancaster County for creating a ‘public nuisance’ because they were renting pornographic movies. They managed to get an indictment against the business, but I … Continue reading “99th House of Delegates Mass Meeting: Terry Beatley, Catherine Crabill: tomato, tah-mah-toh?”
